Imagin owning your identity!

Image... owning your own data and personality profile on the web. You determine where to post it and you determine whom to share it with. Without having to input data over and over again. Based on a standard that sites can adhere to it would be possible. Check out www.dataportability.org where companies like Facebook and Google just joined in.

Their mission is to put all existing technologies and initiatives in context to create a reference design for end-to-end Data Portability. To promote that design to the developer, vendor and end-user community. Great initiative that will make our lives much easier.

The only question that remains is: what about security? But not many people on social websites seem to be bothered by that based the latest articles.

Adobe leading company in Mastery Race for RIA/Web2.0

"Adobe is the key company to watch in the race toward mastery of RIA/Web 2.0 development. Adobe has a strongly positioned client (Flash) on millions of computers, a corps of evolving development tools (Flex, AIR, ColdFusion)"

I am fortunate to see that Adobe is the favorite runner up in the 'Intelligent Enterprise 2008 Editors' Choice Awards as Adobe is the main supplier for PeopleXS development platform. This will ensure that we will stay ahead in the market of e-Recruitment and SAAS providers.

Adobe's ColdFusion platform, originally started by Macromedia, that was acquired by Adobe, will be 'the glue' for integrating PeopleXS with most new technologies and existing platforms or legacy systems. Think products like .NET and SAP as well as many others....

Also check out: http://labs.adobe.com/ for more information on the possibilities of Flex and AIR.

Need I say more?
